December 11-12

This weekend we went to our ward Christmas Party and then on Saturday we went to a small mission reunion for Jordan. It was fun. besides that, we have been studying hard for finals and the end of the semester!

December 4-5

 This Friday we went to the play 'Pioneer Song' put on by BYU-Idaho

Saturday we went back up to get our tree... We ended up finding a better one!  So, this is our future Christmas Tree

In the Apartment....

Fully Decorated. We don't have any ornaments, and so we did a chain and popcorn strand, which neither of us had done before,...

Haha, it is still a work in progress though, I think...

Thanksgiving Week!

Thanksgiving week was so much fun! To start the week, Jordan and I went caving to the Ice Caves on the 20th. We had a blast and there was hot peach cobbler ready when we came out of the cave.

That night we drove to Draper, UT where we stayed with Cherstin's brother Shawn and his family for a couple days. We went to the BYU vs. AIR FORCE football game, which was so much fun!

Then on Monday morning, we drove down to Fruita, CO where we stayed a couple days with Jordan's family there. We went bowling... Where Jordan bowled a 195!

On Wednesday, We headed down to New Mexico to where Jordan's sister Kassie lives. We went via Moab, where the guys all went Mountain biking. The women went on to New Mexico!

As this was Cherstin's first Thanksgiving away from her parents home, she was a little nervous.

But, she had a wonderful time and is very grateful to the Morris family for welcoming her into the family. She had a great week!

Cherstin even made her first homemade apple pie completely from scratch for Thanksgiving dinner!

One day we went to Jordan's Grandma's place where we got to pet and feed several horses!

On the last day in New Mexico, We all went to the Aztec Ruins. They were fun to walk around and to see!

The week was incredible!!  It was hard to come back to school!

November 13-14

Tonight we went on a Wagon ride with BYU-Idaho outdoors activities. They took us on a wagon pulled by two horses. Then we stopped by a fire where we had stew and cobbler made in dutch ovens.

 Jordan's siblings Kammie and Bobby came up for the weekend On Saturday we went to Mesa Falls. It was all snowy and really cold but it was absolutely beautiful!

Later that night we went to Collegiate Dancers, which was great

November 7

Jordan and I taught 'Crime Prevention' At a Boy Scout POW WOW today.  It was held at BYU-Idaho and we had two classes with about 17 boys who were ages (12-17)... 


Wow!  That was a teaching experience for sure!

Halloween Weekend

We went with our friends Ryan and Courteney to some land that Courteney's parents own. We went and picked out our future Christmas Tree! We spent the night up there the day before Halloween.!

This was similar to the cabin we stayed at. We played games and had Dinner and then Breakfast here with them.

The next morning, we went up to the top of the mountain even on 4-wheelers. It was bitter cold!

Masquerade Ball

Last night Jordan and I wend to a Masquerade Ball!  We doubled with my friend Sara and her husband Brad. We both got all dressed up and even made our masks.

These are our masks... aren't they awesome!  There some pretty neat masks at the dance.

There was even a live band!

We sure had a blast, and we were even able to dance the Foxtrot, Swing, Waltz, and ChaCha, as we have been learning them in our dance class.

October 17 weekend!

This weekend has been a blast! Friday night we went canoeing with a group from school. We went down the Teton and snake river. We ended up at Beaver Dick park where there was dutch oven potatoes and chicken, and dutch oven cobbler. It was delicious!  We also saw Curtis and Maile and Arden camping!  It seemed they were having fun!

Then Saturday evening we went on a hike up by Kelly Canyon Ski Resort. It was beautiful and was a wonderful little hike. We were happy to get out for a little bit!

October 10 Weekend

Last weekend we went camping on Friday night!  It was so cold! But we had a blast!  We had chilli and hotdogs for dinner, with hot chocolate with a warm fire!  The next morning we had oatmeal and enjoyed the morning.  Then we went to a service activity where we helped to make felt blankets. They gave us lunch there. That afternoon, we went to a corn maze with Curtis and Anna and their family!  It was so much fun!  and we made it through!  That evening we celebrated 10/10 day where Taiwan gained their independence day from China!        ( Jordan's dad served his mission in Taiwan, which is where that tradition started) We got amazing food and returned home to watch the last half of the third movie of Lord of the Rings: the extended version.  It was a great weekend!

We got our pictures from our photographer from our wedding!  Stephanie Carstens did a wonderful job and we are so pleased with the pictures!! Here are some of them! We couldn't put them all up, there were too many wonderful ones!
