Memorial weekend

We went to Colorado for Memorial weekend.  We stopped by the Morris' in Fruita on our way to Longmont, for a night. We went out to a Chinese restaurant for dinner and played Qwirkle afterwards! We stayed there the that night then drove on to Longmont the next morning. 

When we got to Longmont, we got packed up and went camping with Cherstin's family!  We stayed two nights at Moraine park in the Rocky Mountain National Park.  It was beautiful and very warm! we went on three different hikes with all the children and it was so much fun!  We went with Devin and Laura and their family as well as Jason and Danica and their family. Saturday, we went back to Longmont, unpacked and then went to a couple high school graduation parties. 

On one of our hikes Jordan got so hot, that he had to stick his head in the freezing water. He and Devin actually jumped in too!

On Memorial day, Jordan and my Dad and my sister Laura ran the 10K Bolder Boulder.  We also had a picnic and made cookies with Devin's girls!  We played a ton of games and had a BBQ with Devin's family, Jason's family, and our second cousins Russel and his wife. We played badmitten and bean-bag toss, and volleyball. It was a very fun day!

Afterwards Jordan drove back to provo, and I went up with my parents to Idaho.  We had a blade-signing ceremony for the wind turbines that are going up on my families land. It was a really neat experience and Curtis and I signed the blade multiple times!   We stayed at Curtis and Anna's for the night  then drove down to Provo the next day. 

This past saturday, we went on a hike to Stewart falls, with Jordan's brother Gary, and his family, and Bobby.  It was a beautiful hike!
