At the end of April we noticed our little hamster, Emerson wasn't eating very much. He was just laying there too weak to move.
On May 1st, Little Emerson passed away. We buried a hole in the backyard and had a little ceremony to remember him. He was over 2 years old and lived a good life!
Our neighbor boy friends came by to say goodbye. Amir and Amar. 
I think William was just a bit overwhelmed. Thankfully his friends were able to distract William, but we could tell he was feeling very sad to loose his friend.
