Pioneer Weekend

I can't believe how grown up he is!

A few weeks ago, We went on the ward campout, up Hobble Creek Canyon. It was Williams first time camping, and he did great!

We went to Colorado for Cherstin's niece's baptism on the 24 of July.  We went to a lake in the mountains, crawdad fishing, the Butterfly Pavilion, and to Casa Bonita in Denver, it was a fabulous 3 days!

We got to hold a tarantula!  Jordan was so scared!  :)

Then we went to Casa Bonita. It is an amazing Mexican restaurant, where they have a waterfall inside.  There are cliff divers, western shows, pirate shows, live bands, comedy, puppet shows, a scary cave walk-through, and so much more!

And this is little William on the drive home, he was so tuckered out. It was a crazy three days!

Ahhhh, Sleep

I just want to write and say that life is great!   William has been sleeping through the night for about a month night. Going to bed about 8:30 pm and waking up at about 7:00 am. As I said, life is great!  Its amazing how much time Jordan and I have been able to just talk and have great conversations with each other.  I love it!  and William is happier than ever.  His second tooth just came through, so he is back to being all happy!  

Frisbee

We had a fun weekend, Jordan played in his frisbee game. They did great!!

William had fun crawling and exploring around.

We  had some of Jordan's family over for dinner on Sunday, We had brazilian food. It was great fun!

The end of an Era

I am not sure if most of you know, but NASA's space shuttle program is ending, after 30 years.  I think it is a sad thing. I know that most of the controversy over this is that the program costs a lot of money, and we don't get anything in return. But to that I say, we get a lot in return!   Maybe not monetary values, but in other regards: knowledge, information, experience, exploration in one of the last frontiers.  I think the program was really expensive and something needs to be figured out for that.  Maybe something has. NASA has not given up, they are trying new ways to explore space, beyond the scope of the shuttle. So I guess it is a bittersweet goodbye to the space shuttle program.  Yes, it will be the end of one form of exploration of space, but it is the beginning of other, new methods of exploration. Not to mention the private sector that will hopefully step in, to explore space.

4th of July Weekend!!

My cousin's wedding was on friday. My mom came to visit for the wedding. This is Caleb and Stephanie.

Little William had fun playing in the grass while everyone was taking pictures.

For the rest of the weekend, we went to Vernal, to visit Jordan's parents.  While there we went to the dinosaur museum. It was cool!

While in Vernal, we went to Jordan's uncle's house. They have a lot of animals there. Here, William is riding his first horse!

Their new home has a beautiful little stream running through it.  There is also a big open field, lots of space for a garden, orchard, and a barn.  And their front and back yards are amazing.  They have chickens and ducks there. Here, the chickens are perched high in a branch, for the night.

On the fourth, we went to a parade.  It was so much fun!

Afterwards we had a BBQ with family. I love corn on the cob!

When we got back to Provo, we went on a BBQ with Jared, Che, Finley, and Bobby. We rode our bikes up Provo Canyon.
